SOME OF MY FAVORITE WEDDINGS FROM EACH YEAR

WRIGHT-LONG WEDDING

May 18, 2019

My husband’s brother, Ryan, got married to this beautiful & creative entrepreneur, Sarah, and they asked me to help them along the way. I wore many hats for this wedding; planner, coordinator, florist, and sister-in-law. They were gracious enough afterward to send me a gift box full of things to help me relax and pamper myself after this busy weekend. The wedding was hot yet beautiful and the guests were full of energy and excitement. The dance floor was never empty! I love weddings like that. Thanks so much Sarah and Ryan for allowing me to be a part of your special day.

MAYERS-LACY WEDDING

January 7, 2018

Put this wedding in my record books as being the coldest wedding to date.  There was snow on the ground from 2 days before and at the end of the reception, it was 6 degrees outside.  The cold temperatures created some interesting problems but nothing could stop this amazing couple from having an awesome wedding.  Justin and Ashley said "I do" in front of 140 of their closes family and friends and exited to a cascade of sparklers to their getaway car.  Isn't the bride just stunning while braving the cold?

COMING SOON JOHNSON-GATEWOOD WEDDING

November 18, 2017

Joining a sorority is not only for your time during college, those girls become your sisters for life. I was fortunate enough to be able to be the wedding coordinator for one of my dear sorority sisters and it was so wonderful to be able to reconnect and be a part of her wedding.   It was a chilly, overcast day but everything went smoothly and beautifully.  Both venues were gorgeous and the company that Charlotte and Wesley keep are so welcoming.  It really was a fun time and I am honored to have been a part of it.

PEARSON-RICH WEDDING

September 17, 2016

Cody and Caroline were a dream couple to work with.  Their love for each other was very apparent and their friends loved them just as much.  The bride and her sweet mom worked through every little detail of the wedding and made it easy for me to set everything up. At the end of the night everyone was all smiles; they had a great time.

RABINOWITZ-SCHILLING WEDDING
May 9, 2015

This DC wedding was a beautiful one, even if it was a hot day.  Everything went wonderfully and the Nicole and John Paul looked amazing.  This was my first bi-lingual wedding; the groom's family spoke Spanish.  I love the last picture  of the groom's mother and the bride's mother talking and laughing with family.  Such a great representation of the entire day.

JONES-CONLEY WEDDING

October 18, 2014

This couple was former military and just absolutely gorgeous.  Rita and Nick along with their bridal party were such a fun group as you can see from the silly pictures.  The bridal party danced their way into the reception and Nick and Rita had a sweet first dance that led into a surprise choreographed mix of all of the greatest dance songs.  The love and fellowship was so abundant that night.

WINTER WEDDING STYLED SHOOT

November 2014

This was a winter inspired wedding shoot that included a bride and her bridesmaid. Nikki was so helpful and really worked to make the shoot a beautiful success!  And how can you turn down that delicious pie and a glass of Virginia wine?

JOHNSON-LEVEQUE WEDDING

October 25, 2014

The couple Candace and Matt were so fun to work with.  They even took dance lessons and surprised everyone with a choreographed first dance.  The event was in Richmond and included many Richmond things.  I fell in love with Candace's family and just did her younger sister's wedding in November.

BLUSH and BASHFUL STYLED SHOOT

I cannot tell you enough how amazing these vendors are.  Through torrential downpours, the photographer and the florist were with me every step making sure each image was perfect. They really brought this Steel Magnolia's shoot to life.

KILTZ-WESTERN WEDDING

April 26, 2014

This wedding was my first full planning wedding and it was awesome to be a part of every step from start to finish.  I enjoyed designing different aspects of the wedding and learning as I went along.  Erica and Michael were great to work with and put a lot of faith in me to make their day a great one.  Plus, I love being able to give back to our service members in a unique way.
